Hi! My name is Jackie. I come to you from the Pacific NW, but I have lived in many places, from Philadelphia PA to Northeastern Italy. My family departed England, Scotland, Germany, and Switzerland to (eventually) settle in the tiny towns near Colville, WA.  The pioneering spirit of my family is alive in me as I love to travel, learn new languages, and study how others live. I lived on Bainbridge Island, WA from age 12 – 18. After achieving my BS at the University of WA, I left the area to pursue other adventures. But now I’m back home.

You could call me a geek, but I prefer the word “scholar,” as it is actually related to my married name “Scolaro.” I worked hard all through school to master the skills that would make me a creative and versatile IT professional. As with many IT folks, I have an avid love of puzzles and problem solving, but an equal fondness for beauty in poetry, visual arts, and music. To balance my logical side, I earned a Culinary Arts degree.

My core values lead me to empathize with all people and contribute what I can to help worthy causes. I strive for harmony, but when called upon to defend a vulnerable population, I will speak up. I can put myself into almost anyone’s shoes, which is why acting has always been natural for me. I love to inhabit the characters who make stories come to life.
